Some weekends are just a little more magical than others. The wedding weekend on the Black Sea in Romania was just one of those. Between BBQs, bonfires, romance, and a hint of sea breeze, I not only got to celebrate love, but also wear four looks that I enjoyed so much I just had to share them with you. Each wedding guest outfit had its own moment—and, to be honest, its own mood, too.
Friday evening
– BBQ & Bonfire in blue
The weekend kicked off with a relaxed get-together right on the beach. There was grilled vegetables, fish, a glass of white wine in hand – and I was wearing a shimmering blue dress that looked almost like liquid seawater at sunset. Loosely cut, but with an elegant waist and a slight leg slit, it was perfect for the mix of beach vibes and event flair. I wore flat sandals (no one wants to fight with heels on the sand) and wore my hair in loose waves – just like the sea that lapped right behind us.
The dress was my statement piece for the first evening – striking without being loud. I love looks like that: When you arrive and immediately feel comfortable because the fabric is light, the color is vibrant, and you know deep down: Okay, this is perfect.

– Sunny Breakfast in yellow
After a short night and lots of laughter under the starry sky, the next morning was a busy day: breakfast in the courtyard of our Hotel Euforia – which, by the way, sounds just as beautiful as it was. A bit quirky, charming, and full of light.
I also unpacked my wide yellow pants – a little mood booster in textile form. High-waisted, flowing fabric, combined with a simple white tank top, gold hoop earrings, and loose hair, it was my easy breakfast look. I love the lightness of these pants – they’re the epitome of summer for me. And in the morning sun, they almost shimmered.

Saturday afternoon
– stripe love & pink slippers
Between breakfast and wedding styling, a quick dip on the beach was a must – quite literally. The water was crystal clear and, to be honest, freezing cold. But hey, dipping your feet in was a must.
My beach look? Wide cotton shorts in a striped design, paired with a matching shirt – also striped. And I’m seriously wondering: Are stripes perhaps the next big trend? Because I just felt… ready in this look. For the sea, for photos, for a quick espresso. Underneath, I wore a white and blue bikini – classic, but not boring. And the only pop of color? My bright pink slippers, which broke up the look and made it perfect at the same time.
I love breaks like this. When an outfit screams „I’m ready for a sailing trip in Saint-Tropez,“ but the shoes say „Let’s go to the kiosk.“

Saturday evening
– Wedding Night in brown & shell dreams
And then – the big moment: the wedding. Right on the beach, toes in the sand and the sun slowly setting. No lavender, no olive trees – but the sea, which couldn’t have been more honest.
My dress for the evening was a simply cut, straight-fitting brown dress. No slit, no frills. Simply a classic – and precisely because of that, it’s so strong. Brown on fair skin? It works. More than that. I think it brings a very unique elegance, especially when your complexion isn’t quite in summer mode yet.
I wore a white shell-shaped handbag, lots of gold bracelets, and pearl earrings – all in keeping with the shell theme that ran like a thread through the evening. My brown heels were not only beautiful but also surprisingly comfortable – I wore them all night, dancing, laughing – and never once thought about taking them off.
