Every year on March 8th, we celebrate International Women´s Day – a day that symbolizes progress, equality and strength around the world. It is a day that reminds us how far we have come, while also showing us the endless possibilities that women have today.

A historical milestone
The origins of Women´s Day lie in the labor movement of the early 20th century. Women campaigned for better working conditions, the right to vote and a fairer society. The visionary Clara Zetkin played a key role in bringing this day into being. Since 1921, March 8th has been a fixed date that is celebrated worldwide. Today, over 100 years later, we can look with pride at the impressive progress that women have made in all areas of life.

And maybe you don’t know one or two of the women who influence us. For this reason, it is a pleasure for me to have introduced you to at least a few. The world is our runway…
My Summary
