Vani´s Wishlist December – sweet little Santa

VaniVanity_Wishlist December

Welcome to my very own wishlist for December 2025!

A wish list for everyone who enjoys giving themselves gifts as much as others.

It’s early December, Vienna is sparkling like a jewel box again, the atmosphere is somewhere between the scent of mulled wine, the long lines for roasted chestnuts, and the feeling that the year has somehow been both too long and too short at the same time. And every time the first snowflakes fall (or even just the third drizzle of the day, because Austria is Austria, after all), I suddenly feel ten years old again—and I get the urge to write a wish list to Santa Claus.

So yes, Santa, here we go.

This year, however, there are no dollhouse-sized dreams or the obligatory pink Game Boy (R.I.P. childhood). This time it’s about a grown-up wishlist – but still full of Christmas magic at its heart. And perhaps it will be the perfect inspiration for gifts you actually want. No „utility items,“ no „household goods“ – just things you unwrap, look at, and think: Wow. That’s exactly what I needed. Even if I didn’t know it.

1. Santa, please bring me: travel

 – the best of all gifts

If I could, I’d wrap „time by the sea“ in gift paper. And tie a ribbon on „a weekend in a new city.“ And probably add „a week of spa and sun“ on top.

Travel is my absolute favorite gift—because it doesn’t just bring things, it brings memories. And honestly, nobody gets nostalgic about a scented candle later on. But that sunset in Jesolo? That walk on the beach in Trieste? That breakfast in a little café that you’re still talking about years later? Yes.

My wish for Santa:

A spontaneous weekend trip (Venice? Barcelona? Paris?)

A few days somewhere with breakfast and a pool

Or a voucher for a hotel that practically screams „self-care“ the moment you enter the URL?

Travel is the ultimate luxury gift for me, yet still tangible. And probably the only gift you can give someone else and benefit from yourself at the same time. Win-win, thanks Santa.

2. A designer piece that...

I usually save for „later“ forever

Santa, honestly – at some point, later has to become now.

There’s this one designer piece that I keep looking at online, adding to my cart, deleting it, looking at again… it’s a never-ending dance.

You know that feeling, right?

That one thing you don’t need, but you already carry inside.

That goes with every outfit.

That you’ll have forever.

It’s about a bag, Santa.

One that feels like a little upgrade for life.

You know the one.

3. Jewelry that lasts

– gold you can feel

I love gifts that still shine years later. And gold jewelry definitely fits that description. Not big statement pieces, but rather minimalist, feminine, delicate – yet meaningful.

What’s on my wishlist:

• A delicate gold chain with a small pendant

• Earrings I never have to take off (except maybe for the spa)

• A ring to remind me of this year – and how much has happened

Jewelry is like a little personal chronicle for me. You wear memories, and I find that simply beautiful

4. A winter coat that really screams

„Main Character“

You know that feeling when you’re walking through the city in December and you think to yourself: Why does my coat look like I dragged it from 2019 into the present? Exactly.

This year, I want a coat that arrives before I do.

Warm, high-quality, a little bit elegant, a little bit „I know exactly what I’m doing.“

A coat you can wear with everything – from dinner to a Christmas market to a quick „just grabbing coffee“ look. An investment piece, but one that’s worth it every day.

5. Luxury skincare

for my super sensitive skin

I preach it every year: Christmas is the perfect time to treat yourself to those good products you usually save for „later.“ And this year, skincare is once again on my list—new, beautiful, and winter-proof. With my eczema and sensitive skin, there are no experiments, so my wishlist stays within the comfort zone of brands that don’t let me down.

What I’m whispering to Santa this time:

• a luxurious serum for winter skin

• a rich cream that doesn’t sting

• maybe a face mask set for pampering evenings

• and please, no perfume in the skincare – Santa, we both know.

Skincare is self-care for me. And Christmas is the perfect occasion to treat yourself like a little gift.

6. A fragrance that smells of ...

winter, elegance, and glow

There are fragrances for summer, fragrances for work—and then there are fragrances for December. I’m talking about perfumes that are warm, sensual, a little cozy, and yet still smell like „holidays in the city.“ Those fragrances you wear in the elevator and someone says, „Wow… what’s that?“

A new signature winter fragrance is at the top of my list. Nothing too sweet, nothing too heavy—simply elegant. The kind of perfume that goes perfectly with a string of golden Christmas lights.

7. Luxurious homewear for ...

a true „Holiday at Home“ feeling

Winter is my time to snuggle up at home. And when I do that, I want to be in truly luxurious loungewear. I mean real comfort sets: soft, cozy, and beautiful.

My vision:

• A cashmere or cashmere blend set

• Cozy slippers that don’t look like kindergarten slippers

• Maybe a soft bathrobe for relaxing weekends

Homewear is such an underrated gift to me – you wear it all the time, instantly feel better, and don’t look like a Netflix character in season four of Insomnia.

8. Santa, wish for ...

a golden cocktail bar upgrade

If there’s one thing I love about December, it’s evenings spent at home, fairy lights on, some music playing in the background – and someone mixing a really good drink. Or, let’s be honest, mixing it yourself. And this year, I’m dreaming of a small, golden bar upgrade that can instantly transform any living room into a mini cocktail bar. Not kitschy, but stylish, elegant, with a touch of old-money charm, and perfect for long winter evenings.

What’s on my wish list:

• A gold cocktail bar set that not only looks beautiful but also feels amazing – shaker, jigger, strainer, the whole shebang.

• Heavy, sparkling crystal glasses that instantly transport you to a scene from a luxurious winter movie.

• A little bit of glitter alcohol, because, yes, Santa, we both know: there’s a kind of magic that simply sparkles in the bottle.

• Maybe an elegant tray to perfectly showcase everything.

• And some lovely garnish ideas: dried oranges, rosemary sprigs, cinnamon – anything that screams winter cocktail and holiday sparkle.

I imagine myself mixing drinks for friends with it at Christmas. Espresso Martinis, variations of Winter Spritz, maybe a festive Pomegranate Gin Cocktail… For me, a bar set isn’t just a „bar set“—it’s the promise of many little moments that are simply beautiful. And Santa, let’s be honest: it just looks really good, too.

9. Small accessories that have a big impact

– a.k.a. “Santa, make me shine”

Not every gift has to be big; sometimes a small, thoughtful touch is all it takes to instantly lift someone’s spirits.

What I love:

• a high-quality cardholder

• a beautiful scarf or hat

• elegant gloves

• a hair accessory that instantly transports me to Paris

These are the little things that complete a winter look. The kind of gifts you never forget because you use them all the time.

10. Something for my new office

– for 2026 please with a glow

Santa, I’ve poured so much time and love into my home office this year – and it now feels like a truly grown-up space.

But I’d still love a few nice additions:

• a stylish organizer that doesn’t look like it came from an office supply store

• a lovely scented oil or room fragrance

• a high-quality mug (yes, mugs make a difference!)

• maybe a small desk lamp in a warm gold tone

I want my office to be a place I enjoy sitting down in – and it deserves a few festive upgrades.

Dear Santa – a few words to conclude

I know, at the end of the day, it’s not about the size or price of a gift.

It’s about the feeling it evokes.

And about that magic in the December air when you allow yourself to dream—even as an adult.

My wishlist, as always, is a mix of small dreams, big dreams, self-care, glamour, and things that truly bring me joy.

Maybe Santa will grant me everything – maybe just one item.

But the beauty of a list like this is:

It shows you where you stand.

What you want.

What you love.

And what you want to carry more of into the new year.

So if you need inspiration for gifts this year – for yourself or your loved ones – feel free to take something from this list.

Maybe you’ll find just the right thing.

Or maybe it will simply inspire you to write your own wish list again.

Simply because it’s fun.

Because it feels good.

And because we all deserve a little Christmas magic.

Love, Vanessa 🎄✨
